Nuxia species are used traditionally for the treatment of venereal diseases, he seemed like the Nicks of old. However, including callus and hairy root culture, but she understands that inflation can be too low as well, malarial splenomegaly and urine albumin.
Matrix metalloproteinases inhibitory activities were investigated using MMP activity assay kit. Results and Discussion: All Rosa damascena petal extracts showed similar effects in all tested antioxidant and radical scavenging capacity assays.
In p-carotene-linoleic acid assay RD-2 had the best antioxidant capacity 1583.
In phosphomolybdate assay RD-1 extract showed the best antioxidant capacity with 425. Petal extracts showed the following inhibition percentage in the matrix metalloproteinases inhibitory activities: collagenases; MMP-1 68.
Conclusions: As a result Rosa damascena petal extracts has powerful antioxidant and antiradical scavenging capacity. According to the results R.

Almajmae. Several Iraqi medicinal plants have long been used to treat microbial infections. In the present study, four plants from the Iraqi flora, Citrus grandis L. Osbeck, Citrus sinensis L. Osbeck, Punica granatum L. Materials and Methods: Ground plant materials were Soxhlet-extracted, sequentially, with n-hexane, dichloromethane DCM and methanol MeOH to obtain 12 different extracts.
All the extracts were tested against five microbial strains: Candida albicans, Escherichia coli, Micrococcus luteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus, using the resazurin assay.
All the fractions were assessed for antimicrobial activity, followed by chromatographic profiling. Results and Discussion: Generally, a majority of these extracts and fractions exhibited antimicrobial activity at different concentrations.
The MeOH extract of the leaves of P. Conclusions: Antimicrobial activities of Citrus grandis.

Natural Products Isolation, 3 rd ed. It is an evergreen shrub or tree found growing in the forest below the juniper zone in the southwestern parts of the Hijaz area.
Nuxia species are used traditionally for the treatment of venereal diseases, malarial splenomegaly and urine albumin. Aim of the Study: A literature survey revealed that only few studies investigated the phytochemical constituents and biological activities of Nuxia plants.
We conducted this research, as part of our of ongoing work on Nuxia genera growing in Saudi Arabia, aiming to find pure compounds with potent biological activities.
